The Hootronics Initiation Board 3-P is engineered for maximum reliability in demanding field conditions. The ability to quickly configure and combine activation modes allows a single board to be used across a wide range of combat tasks. It features a multi-layered safety system — mechanical safety pin, configurable safety timer, ARM/DISARM remote control, and 6 levels of circuit-level protection. The built-in accelerometer detects impacts from any direction, including collisions with anti-drone nets. The board is compatible with interceptor drones — supports full remote deactivation upon return. Thanks to its very low power consumption (30 mA), the board is also perfectly suited for ambush drones that wait in position for a target to appear.

Operating Modes

  • Autonomous — triggers from impact sensor, whiskers contact, or self-destruct timer
  • Flight controller control via PWM — adds remote detonation from the transmitter, single or dual servo control
  • Mining mode — detonation on flip-over, automatic (timer-based) or manual (controller-activated)

Safety System

  • Mechanical safety pin — breaks the circuit between the combat capacitor and detonator terminals; when inserted, shorts detonator leads to prevent accidental firing
  • Safety timer — configurable delay after pin removal during which the board ignores impacts and commands (default 2 min)
  • Transistor switches — upper transistor activated by modulated signal only; dual redundant lower transistors disconnect ground
  • Combat capacitor disconnected from power and shorted to ground during DISARM
  • Galvanic isolation electrically isolates the board from the flight controller
  • Interference-resistant whiskers respond only to their own modulated signal
  • TVS diodes on detonator terminals protect against induced voltages

Mounting

  • Anti-slip pad on the back of the board ensures a secure grip on any surface
